Where can I find Boeing 747-400 flap mechanism to simulate it in 3D CAD software? IPC/AMM are confusing. Don't want exact dimension but atleast operation mechnism. No confidential data required.

I hope these links help! ::

http://ntrs.nasa.gov/archive/nasa/casi. ... 080955.pdf - a nice pdf with the whole breakdown of the plane.

http://www.avsim.com/pages/0309/iFly/747.htm - a site that already has a simulation package.

http://everything.explained.at/Boeing_747/ - this site has reference links at the bottom of page that may be of use

If I find anymore I will post them later. Hope these help. I didn't find anything directly related to cad or the actual mechanism, but these are very resourceful sites, that may help you to implement your own solution.
