Hi,
Am currently not connected to the internet at home and it seems that MSDN for Express does not have win32 help information.

How can I setup the Local help to give win32 help information?

Also the PSDK 2003 R2 we download to be able to program win32 app in express comes with help documentation,
How can I read them? Cause I try to open them but it does not launch MSDN help.

I've copied these help files to the same directory as the installed MSDN docs but still no show.

I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks

Inside the compiler, choose Tools->Options.

Then select Environment->Help->Online.

At the top you will see 3 radio buttons. You can try selecting the last one that says Try Local only, not online. If you installed MSDN I think your compiler should recognize the files and open it when you press F1 on the keyboard.

If that doesn't work, you can always just manually open up the help by running:
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\help\dexplore.exe" /helpcol ms-help://MS.PSDKSVR2003R2.1033

Thanks, I've tried using the Tools->Options, Environment->Help->Online many times and it does not work.
[Maybe my installation is faulty,will have a look].

Will try the dexplore program

Thanks again.

I tried the dexplore method but id didn't work.

From which directory should I run the program?

Are the arguments specific to your machine or is that the general one for the PSDK?

Thanks

If you have installed the PSDK into the default path, you should see it in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\help\ directory. If it isn't there then maybe it didn't install fully on your machine.

Are you using the Windows Server 2003 R2 Platform SDK:
