In this video I explain when you should be using explicit constructors. I demonstrate what will happen if you do not use them, and I also show when you should not use explicit constructors.

when i try and unzip these it keeps saying that the file is broken. ive downloaded all 3 parts 3 times now and still for some reason it says its broken. the video does extract but do not play. i managed to repair one and it played halfway through and quit.

I dont know if its the AVI thats broken or the zip or combination of both

I just gave it a try and it works for me.

After downloaded all three files removing the _#### at the end of each file so you should have:
Cpp-vmk021-ExplicitConstructors.part1.rar
Cpp-vmk021-ExplicitConstructors.part2.rar
Cpp-vmk021-ExplicitConstructors.part3.rar

Now open the first file and extract the video onto your hard drive. If the video does not play back, you may be missing a video codec.

Have a look at the following FAQ
* Are the VMK files compressed?
* I downloaded a VMK file but it is corrupted. What should I do?

after modifying the filenames i was able to get it to work. not that i should have to modify them in the first place. it just causes confusion.
